Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you browse our website, get in touch, or book a conversation with us.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Excora Research provides Market Intelligence, Business Development, and App & Web Development services. This policy covers personal information handled when you visit excoraresearch.com, contact us, or arrange a meeting about our services.

Excora Research is responsible for deciding how information is used for these purposes. Our privacy contact is Filip Bardakoski, Founder & Principal Consultant. For questions or requests about your personal information, email [email protected].

Information processed on a client's behalf during a service engagement may be covered by separate agreements and the client's own privacy notice.

2. Information we receive

When you contact us by email or phone, or book a meeting, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, work email address, phone number, company, role, availability, project requirements, and the contents of your communications.

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, request times, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website.

You can browse the website without creating an account. Providing enquiry or booking details is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond or arrange a meeting without the relevant contact information. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have agreed how to handle it.

3. Why we use information

We use enquiry and booking information to answer questions, assess your requirements, arrange meetings, prepare proposals, and manage related communications. We use technical information to serve the website, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a reliable, secure website. We may also process information to meet legal obligations. If we rely on consent for a particular activity, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. Service providers and external links

Information may be handled by providers supporting website hosting, email, scheduling, and business communications, and by people who need it to respond to your request. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request information as part of delivering and securing it. The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to retrieve those files, which exposes technical connection information, including your IP address, to Google.

The meeting-booking button opens an external HubSpot page. Information you enter there is handled through that service and shared with us to manage your booking. External websites operate under their own privacy notices and may use their own cookies. Opening an email link launches your chosen email application.

5. Cookies and browser features

The website does not use advertising pixels or set analytics cookies as part of its current website features. Our hosting providers may use technologies needed to deliver the website, prevent abuse, or maintain security. External services you choose to open, including the booking page, may use additional cookies under their own policies.

The animation control changes how the page behaves during your visit. It is not used to build an advertising profile. If we introduce optional tracking technologies, we will update this notice and request consent where required. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

6. How long information is kept

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Retention depends on whether an enquiry is still active, whether it leads to an engagement, and whether records are needed for contractual, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution requirements. Technical log retention also depends on the relevant provider and service configuration.

You can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion. Some information may need to be retained where there is a legal requirement or another applicable basis to do so.

7. International processing and security

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the transfer must be covered by an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data.

We seek to limit access to personal information to those who need it for the purposes described here. No online service or method of communication can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, or receive certain information in a portable format. You can also withdraw consent where processing relies on it and object to direct marketing.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need information to verify your identity and understand the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also raise a complaint with the data protection authority responsible for your location.

9. Children

Our website and business services are intended for professional and business audiences, rather than children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
